Join us for an in-person day of bumblebee learning and fieldwork!
Led by expert Helen Dickinson, this workshop is ideal for anyone looking to learn more about bumblebee ecology and identification.
The day will be split into two sessions:
-
Morning: Helen will introduce the fascinating world of bumblebees, covering their ecology, life cycles, and how to identify common UK species.
-
Afternoon: After a short lunch break, we’ll head out into the park grounds to put our new skills into practice. This guided walk will focus on observing, identifying, and recording the bumblebee species we find.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to build on existing knowledge, this workshop offers a great mix of classroom learning and practical experience.
Don’t miss this chance to get up close with one of the UK’s most important pollinators!
