We’ve added a new Recent records page to the TWIC website. The page provides a live snapshot of wildlife records submitted across the TWIC area over the past month.
The page brings together information shared via iRecord and lets users explore recent recording activity in two ways. You can view summary statistics highlighting frequently recorded species and recent trends. Alternatively, you can explore the data in more detail using an interactive map showing individual records.
Volunteers, local recorders and organisations contribute records to the page. Where possible, experts check records before sharing them more widely. Some records may still be awaiting verification, and we display sensitive records at reduced precision to help protect vulnerable species.
