We currently have an office volunteer opportunity to support the processing of biological records onto the TWIC database. If you enjoy working with spreadsheets, have an eye for detail and are interested in working with a conservation charity, we would love to hear from you!
The volunteer will be responsible for processing datasets from a wide variety of sources, as well as assisting with data archiving and data cleaning tasks.
Volunteers are expected to commit a minimum of 1 day per week and are based at the TWIC offices, which are situated at the Vineyard Business Centre, near Pathhead. In return, TWIC will offer full training for the role, free attendance at the TWIC annual conference and reasonable travel expenses.
The role may appeal to individuals who wish to gain relevant experience to help them gain their first paid role in the Ecology or conservation sector, or individuals who wish to use their time and experience to contribute positively to our charity’s work.
For more information, including a role description, visit the ‘Volunteering’ page of our website. Deadline for applications: 30 April 2026.
