We are delighted to announce the programme for our 2025 Conference and AGM. Join us for a day filled with captivating talks, engaging displays and the chance to meet with like-minded individuals from across SE/central Scotland.
Our theme this time is ‘Coastal Recording and Conservation‘ and speakers will include expert botanist, Ben Averis who will give a talk on the coastal habitats of SE/central Scotland, Warren Maguire will introduce The Marine Isopod Recording Scheme, Amy Tyndall from EOLAS Insight who will present on how technologies can be used for Seabird Conservation and Fiona Ware will showcase the National Museums Scotland Marine invertebrate Collection.
The programme also includes a talk from our partners at Biological Recording in Scotland (BRISC). As BRISC winds up in 2025, Jonathan Willet’s presentation will be a chance to reflect and celebrate the charity’s achievements over the last 50 years.
The event aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspire others to get involved. If you’d like to share information about your recording initiative/scheme during the open mic session, or by providing an exhibit or poster, please let us know your requirements when you complete the booking form.
The day will conclude with the presentation of the Bob Saville Award.
Booking is essential. Tickets are £20 (£15 students), including lunch and teas/coffees throughout the day. For more information and to register please visit Eventbrite.
With thanks to NatureScot for supporting this event.
We do hope you can join us!
