This online webinar will introduce you to Scotland’s spiders. This will include an introduction to their ecology, identification and surveying, led by spider expert Chris Cathrine. The online webinar will include a brief microscope demonstration to highlight the key features needed for identifying and keying spider specimens.
This is an online workshop, hosted on Zoom, instructions to join will be sent to attended prior to the event.

Durations: Approximately 2 hours
Cost: Choose either the free ticket type or the donation ticket type (minimum donation £1). Donations to TWIC will support our work in organising biological recording training workshops and events.

Workshop Leader: Chris Cathrine is a committee member of the British Arachnological Society and the South West Scotland Area Organiser for the Spider Recording Scheme. Chris has over 18 years professional experience in ecological conservation and is a Technical Director at RSK Biocensus.
